When winter wraps Gerlos in a glorious winter coat, the enchantment of snow takes over and the fascination begins. Winter days in Gerlos, at 1,300m above sea level, have a very special character of their own.

Snow-sure skiing is not just promised, but guaranteed. The ski area can be accessed from the village and offers a stunning 166 kilometres of pistes, serviced by 51 lifts taking you from an altitude of 1,300m up to 2,500m from the beginning of December right up to Easter. A whole host of cosy mountain restaurants ensure that not only your sporting needs are catered for. On newly created ski trails and runs you can ski safely and comfortably back down to the valley. And of course, after a hard day on the slopes, the famous Gerlos après ski is an absolute must.
