Holiday at the organic farm
Many of the products used here at the hotel come from the Scharler Family’s own farm, located right next to the
Children’s Hotel Felben in Mittersill, or from local farmers in the region.
45 Pinzgauer cows, mother cows with calves and young bulls, are free to roam around their enclosure and the grazing meadow or take a nap on their soft straw beds any time they like. Pinzgauer cattle are real fresh air freaks: even when the temperatures drop below freezing, they still prefer to spend their time outside rather than in the shed!

Children Hotel Felben
The Family Hotel Felben in the Salzburg County mountains is a paradise for children as well as parents: While you enjoy our spa area with herbal treatments and massages, your children will just love the farm, the extensive playgrounds or the play rooms inside the hotel. The swimming pools, horseback riding courses for children, and professional child care programmes ensure that your kids never get bored.

Austrian Regional Products
We prepare our dishes using products predominantly from the Austrian Regional Products association!
The majority of our beef comes from our own organic farm in Mittersill. Additionally, we purchase
beef, veal and pork from the butchers Schultes in Zell am See and Ebner in Mittersill. The Pinzgauer Dairy in Maishofen provides us with
dairy products.
Fruit & Vegetables
are
delivered by the retailers Wedl and Frucht-Hutter.
Freshwater fish & Breakfast eggs are also delivered by the retailer Wedl.
