| Although the world famous Hohe Tauern National Park offers visitors a multitude of attractions and natural beauty spots, the re-opening of the National Park World “Nationalparkwelten” in Mittersill in summer 2007 undoubtedly enhanced its cultural appeal. The National Park Centre is Europe’s largest and most modern visitor centre. There are great activity and adventure stations such as a 3-D cinema film about the creation and evolution of the local mountain ranges, stunning flight films of the park shot from the perspective of its natural inhabitants and much, much more. |
